The Veterinary Association of Zambia (VAZ) exists to serve you — and service starts with knowing who represents you and how to reach them. Following the resignation of Dr Jordan Mukuni Mubita as Western Region Representative, the Executive Committee (“Ex Co”) is publishing this directory so that every member can put a name, a role and a phone number to the leadership elected to serve them.
Why This Notice Matters — Strategic Plan 2026–2030
This notice is not just an address book — it is governance in action, and it delivers directly against two priorities of the VAZ Strategic Plan 2026–2030:
Strategic Priority 1 — Governance and Leadership
Strategic Objective 1 commits the Association to “strengthen governance and leadership coordination” through defined, structured reporting and communication mechanisms for the Ex Co. A clear, published directory of office-bearers and their duties is exactly that mechanism in practice.
Strategic Priority 4 — Veterinary Networks and Professional Development
Strategic Objective 2 commits VAZ to “strengthen regional veterinary networks that support the welfare of members.” Publishing each Regional Representative's direct contact turns that commitment into a working channel between members and the centre.
